Natalie Silverstein, MPH is an author, speaker, consultant, nonprofit founder and passionate advocate for family and youth service. Her first book, Simple Acts: The Busy Family’s Guide to Giving Back, was published in 2019 and was named as one of the Top Books for Parents Who Want to Raise Kind Kids by the HuffPost. Her second book, Simple Acts: The Busy Teen’s Guide to Making a Difference was published in 2022. She is the host of the award-winning podcast, Simple Acts, Big Impact: Celebrating Teen Changemakers. Natalie is the New York coordinator of Doing Good Together. In this role, she curates a free monthly e-mail listing of family-friendly service opportunities that is distributed to thousands of subscribers. Her personal essays have appeared on a variety of platforms including Katie Couric Media, Zibby Mag, Medium, Grown and Flown, and Motherwell. Natalie holds a master’s degree from Yale University.
