Guest Bio

Michelle Valiukenas wears many hats as a dedicated mom, storyteller, and advocate, and her life story is shaped by profound loss and unwavering determination. The memories of Sweet Pea, lost to miscarriage, and Colette Louise, who blessed their lives for nine precious days, and Elliott, her only living child, an energetic and loving 3 ½ year old, have left an enduring mark on Michelle’s heart. Michelle’s personal journey is rooted in deeply meaningful experiences.

Following her emotional journey with Colette, Michelle and her husband Mark embarked on a heartfelt mission by starting The Colette Louise Tisdahl Foundation (CLTF), a nonprofit with a mission of improving outcomes related to pregnancy, childbirth, prematurity, and infancy. This foundation actively works as a catalyst for positive change, providing financial aid, education, and advocacy for families navigating the challenges of high-risk pregnancies, NICU stays, and loss.

Their flagship program provides crucial financial support to families dealing with the complexities of high-risk pregnancies, NICU stays, and loss. The sustainability and growth of the financial assistance program depends on the generosity of others so Michelle always appreciates any financial assistance you can provide.

Michelle’s influence extends far beyond the foundation’s efforts; she is a skilled storyteller, a captivating speaker, and a compelling presenter. Her ability to weave narratives transcends the personal, as she bravely tackles a range of topics including infertility, pregnancy loss, preterm birth, NICU experiences, infant loss, surrogacy, and the delicate journey of parenting after loss.
